Data Deletion Instructions

You can remove your data from Social by The Consultant at any time. There are three ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete from your dashboard

1. Sign in at social.theconsultant.chat/login.
2. Open Settings → Account.
3. Click Delete my account and all data and confirm.

All personal data, Facebook Page access tokens, AI provider credentials, brand assets, and generated images are permanently deleted within 7 days.

Option 2 — Remove the app from Facebook

1. Open Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations.
2. Find Social by The Consultant and click Remove.

Facebook will notify us via the Data Deletion Request Callback. We will delete all data associated with your Facebook user ID within 30 days and provide you a confirmation code you can check using the status link Facebook shows you.

Option 3 — Email us

Email privacy@theconsultant.chat from the address associated with your account. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your customer record (name, email, business name).
• Encrypted Facebook Page Access Token and Facebook user ID.
• Encrypted Google OAuth token or OpenAI API key.
• Brand kit — logo, colors, tone description.
• All post records we generated and their associated images on Cloudflare R2.
• In-dashboard notifications and analytics caches.

What we retain

We retain billing records (invoices, amounts, Stripe customer ID) for 8 years as required by the Indian Income Tax Act. These records do not include your Facebook data or any access tokens.
